Tokyo, February 5, 1989: Top-seeded Martina Navratilova reaches for the ball during her match against Lori McNeil in the finals of the Pan Pacific Open tennis tournament. Navratilova fought to a 6-7 (7-3), 6-3, 7-6 (7-5) win over seventh-seeded McNeil, who had upset Chris Evert and Zina Garrison on her way to the finals.
