MICROSCOPE IS REPAIRED by SP6 Joseph Torrecello, technician at the 6th Medical Depot at Ascom, Korea. The depot has repair facilities for all types of medical and dental equipment used by United Nations Forces in Korea and in addition, repairmen and often sent out to various military hospitals to work on equipment. They also assist the Republic of Korea Navy and some missionary hospitals. Distributing medicine, medical supplies and equipment to United Nations Forces throughout the Republic of Korea is only part of the function of the 6th Medical Depot at ASCOM, South Korea. The huge supply center, under command of Lt. Col. Stanford R. Benner, also repairs all types of hospital and dental equipment and grinds lenses for eyeglasses.
